Two commission paintings on canvas installed at Duke University, installation ceremony with Dr. Ronald Sha, director of Duke Diet and Fitness Center, Durham, North Carolina

Artist creates her first enamel painting patterns by using a technique that separates paints according to their densities. In October, photos of these paintings are used by Dr. Roberto Zenit in his lecture entitled Rayleigh-Taylor Instability Creates Provocative Images in Painting, Conference on Fluid Mechanics Research, California Institute of Technology
